You can walk into any GameStop branch, tell the staff you want to pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI (PS5 or Xbox Series X|S), and put down a refundable deposit (typically $5–$10 USD). GameStop reserves a physical copy for you, and you pay the remaining balance when you pick it up on launch day.

It remains unconfirmed until June 25. GameStop historically secures retailer-exclusive physical items — such as double-sided maps or custom posters (like they did for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2). Once pre-orders go live, this page will list any confirmed bonuses.

While not officially announced, it is highly likely. GameStop has run midnight launch events for almost all major Rockstar Games blockbusters. High-volume locations usually hold late-night opening events. Individual stores typically post schedules 4–6 weeks before the November 19, 2026 launch.
